how much do you trim bumpstop?

i was wondering i cannot get a descent drop in the rear with my coilovers i was told i have to trim the bumpstop how much do you trim the rear? and do you have to trim the front? thanks

i did not get directions they are drop zone i only got a piece of paper that showed how to install and shock components

well, drop zones aren't the best sleeve coils around.. you should probably trim the front about 1 inch, and leave the back.

Once you take it apart you'll see, you can't trim the front bumpstops as they are integrated into the rubber boot. As far as the rear goes, I cut an inch off mine with my H&R's (roughly 1.4" drop). Just leave enough on there to save you if you bottom out. Peace

bro i had skunk2 coilovers and i forgot to cut the bumpstops after i put everything back on the car w/ the new suspension and their is like no drop at all...so i took it back apart and you have to cut it at least in 1/2 use the bigger wider part for the shock!

i dropped my ride on the goldlines and i didnt' trim none of the bumpstops dont feel it bottoming out at all so dont know if i really need to do it .......anybody think it's going to mess anything up??

I have goldlines, and didn't trim them. I have been very very careful while driving, but I still need to trim them. I can feel it. Especially in the front.
