ground-control! or if you can't afford that, go with skunk2. if you can wait, go for the "tein SS"(real-coilovers).

I got my B&G installed, and I think they're pretty bouncy. I dunno though b/c I can't compare it to Ground Controls with Konis or other coils overs because never ridden in them. I'm new to dropping my car, so maybe I'm not used to it. But I think you should just get the Ground Controls and Konis or like he said, the Tein SS which will have adjustable dampning.

I have Ground Control and Konis but its still a little bouncy. B & G should ride better but no matter what when you lower a car it is going to be more bouncier. Unless your car was lower from the factory. I think if the best bet will be to buy the sport suspension that honda came out with for the 2002 civic which should fit the 2001 civic. I heard it was $4000 with the bigger rims but I wonder how much for just the springs and shocks.

Ground control cost about 380-400 + shocks.

I have had someone tell me that r1 were a better coilover. Anyone with experience with these?

That is American $. I live in a small hick town so the one import place tries to charge a whole lot.

I just started looking on the internet before I purchase mine and I did find them for about $340. sorry for the incorrect price.

Hell no r1 arent better. i have r1 right now and it was the worst $130 i ever spent. they have been on my car for about 5 months and there is a different sound comming from every spring. i have squeaking in the back that drives me crazy, popping in the front and some sqeaking too. they have the worst ride in the world and dDO NOT BUY THEM. skunk 2 coil overs are on thier way so i am happy about that

can't go wrong with ground controls but its always good to get other things(shocks, camber etc) for your suspension
