I am waiting as well. I have a set of eibach prokit springs sitting in the closet gathering dust. I am about to just put them on with the stock struts, but I would really hate to do that.
Edit: I think they are supposed to be released at the end of the summer but not sure. Maybe shoot them an email or something.

Will they be designed like the Koni's? I guess a better question is will all aftermarket shocks for our cars have to be designed like the Koni's, that being only inserts?

They don't have to be designed as inserts. It's just cheaper to design and manufacture them. It keeps the price to the consumer down as well. I don't want inserts as I don't like the idea of not being able to return the car to stock. Well, not without buying new parts anyway. Since the Tokicos will be whole units, I suspect that they will only be slightly cheaper than the konis. I have had tokicos before and was more than pleased with them.
I'm waiting....I don't want to have to cut the stock struts...I want to be able to return it to stock if I have to...My car is lowered and I really need new struts, but I am going to wait...
I talked to Joey who works for Tokico at the LA Auto show, he said that it is taking them a while for them to get the shocks out because Honda changed the design from a double wishbone suspension in the front to a macpherson strut, so they have to redesign a new strut for the front. He also said that there are trying to come out with adjustables like before, but they will come out later.

thank God I wasn't the only one waiting for these shocks.
it just seems like everything for our cars are taking damn slow. It's like people don't care about our cars. You know RSX had so many parts available before the car even came out. It's just unfair.
Anyway, someone write to Tokico! and tell him, "Hurry Tokico before I get Tomico"
jk

I called them on tuesday, the guy said that they should be sometime in july, I asked him about price too, he said he didn't know exactly but he said the 6th gen's cost about 1,000 and ours would be maybee a couple hundred more........
so expect end of July, running for about 1,300$$ or so is my guess.
And yes, I can't wait either.
Whoops,........that was Tein....

You must have talked to some lunatic or something. Are you sure he gave you the price in USD? I have never seen any tokicos for that much period and most certainly not for the 6th gen vics! Sounds like one of you was smoking crack while on the phone!
Check out this link!
Are right! I feel like an idiot. Now that I know what Tein is, I know that you were referring to some other brand! You MeatHead! You had me pissed!
