14MM or 16MM? How to know?

14MM or 16MM? How to know?
I always see postings about 14mm strut bolts or 16mm strut bolts, but i have never seen anything to point to which model years had which.. can someone please shine some light on this for me?

01-02 ---->14mm
03-05 civic, 02+rsx, siR(ep3)--->16mm
since you have an 02 you have 14mm. This means you dont have to worry about drilling out your struts if they are too small. If you get struts taht are 16mm call ksport, tein, or some other company and order a set of reducer washers that will take it from 16mm hole to 14mm hole. To be honest tho it really doesnt make much difference. 2mm sounds like a lot on paper, but to see in real life it looks like a non issue. just get the bolts torqued down super tight and they arent going anywhere. many people will probably disagree with me on this one but honestly im in engineering and there are plenty of things out there that have bigger than +/- 1mm clearence fits that undergo way more stress than your bottom bolt holes on your front struts.
03-05 civic, 02+rsx, siR(ep3)--->16mm
