Re: Opinions
well to be honest I was in the exact same situation as you were last year. All of my shocks were blown and i knew I wanted to lower my car and i knew I wanted something good so i looked into colilovers. I assume you are talking about the progress full coilovers vs. the skunk2 pro S (not shitty sleeves)
Both of these are good coilover systems. I nearly bought the skunk2 pro S because they are like the cheapest coilovers for our car and they have decent build quality. The biggest problem is that there is not a lot of information on them. This is why I did not buy them.
The next option is the progress full coilovers. I have heard only great things about these coilovers. I have heard that for a non dampening adjustable suspension they ride amazing. The issue with these is they are a bit more expensive and i'm not sure the situation now but last year there was a very long wait time to get these for our cars. Contact dezod or truehonda to verify this.
Those are just my opinions. heres wut i ended up doing. Right around the time I was going to pick between the two coilovers I searched on craigslist and found some tein flex coilovers (arguably the best coilovers for our car some disagreement because of jic flt-a2 and kw v3 but for arguements sake i'll say that tein flex are the best for an em2). Heres wut happened there was a show car 3 hours away from me that had tein flex in it and they were only on for 3 months. I went and looked at them and they looked brand new so i bought them. I got those for only a few hundred more than the progress and they were basically brand new coilovers that retail over $2000 in canada. I actually have the original recipt that says the purchase price was 2500 lol. So im absolutely loving the tein flex.
here's my suggestion to you. Go with whichever one you want. Both are a good coilover system. My personal preference would probably be the progress. HOWEVER, i am very interrested in seeing what the pro S coilovers are like for our cars. Also there are other brand worth looking into like tein, megan, ksport, b+g, and kw. I really like kw but they are very expensive
