Coilover Nut Backing Out Help?
Coilover Nut Backing Out Help?
Hello,
Ok so I got a set of ksport coilovers, have had them for nearly two years now. They are great and I love them.
Today I pop open the hood and I noticed the top of the coilover has a nut that has backed out significantly. Also the nut is teflon coated and instead of holding the threading centered it seem some of the teflon has compressed and now the nut screws on slightly off center. I tightned it down and that was that.
I didn't notice anything wrong with the suspension, I was just checking under the hood to make sure everything was fine and notice the problem. What can possibly come of this? Because that nut backed out can something internally go wrong with the coilovers? Or is it ok to just tighten it and it should be all good?
Thanks
