Bump Stops

I have an 02 Ex with full B+G coilovers, the bump stops for the front are worn out and loose on the strut shaft/piston. Do I need to contact B+G to get these parts or can I just cut down the stock bump stops?

honestly, it really shouldn't matter too much. as long as they are there it's alright, loose or tight, should serve the purpose just the same. as long as there is something there to keep the struts from bottoming out.

thw_goalie is an unknown quantity at this point
As long as they're not falling off or damaged they should be fine. When your shock compresses it will still hit the bump stop, so it doesn't matter if it's loose or not.
