Also, I do not have the spring rates for these. Most companies do not release that info except for coilover apps. Most performance apps are 20-30% stiffer than stock.
First Suspension...
Well this is my first car, hence my first aftermarket suspension upgrade. Would this be a good starter kit, and be fairly easy to install? Also, what else would I need for a complete upgrade? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry, if I'm jacking your thread let me know and I can start a new one...

Install is typical, of any other suspension on any other car. If you have done any in the past, it's virtually the same. If not, there is a DIY and/or there are shops in your area that can do it for you if you don't have the expertise or tools.
The only other thing you may need would be performance shocks to make a complete handling package.
So this kit, and some new sport shocks and ill be good to go? Im sure ill be able to figure out the install, thanks for the info...(and for not flaming a stupid question) lol, hopefully I will run into some cash and be able to buy this kit soon.

I have a 2001 civic with a bouncy suspension. The suspension is fine on smooth roads, but is bouncy and feels kinda loose when there are bumps on the road. Its not comfortable even when comparing the feel to a 90 prelude with 235K miles. I had pep-boys check it for me and accoruing to the guy, the lower control arm bushing are busted, but he does not see any reason why the suspension would be bouncy.
Now is that typical for 2001 civics and would this kit with some tokiyos give a stiffer, less bouncy ride. Any ideas??

Is this a stock suspension?
I brought this car used from a dealership in nov 05. so i do not know if its stock suspension or something has been modified. i am more inclined to some half-assed aftermarket suspension setup, based on the ripped lower control arm bushings.
but if i use the advertised setup and some tokios would that make it more stable. or should i go in for oem replacement shocks and springs.
