FaZe is an unknown quantity at this point
Can you modify "THIS" to fit an 01 civic?!

I'm planning on buying Tokico D-Spec off a fellow member on this board.
However, he drilled them out to 16mm to fit his 03 Coupe.
Now I have an 01... can I remodify these struts to fit?
Spacers 16 to 14mm?
Drill the knuckles on my car out to 16mm? possible?

Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks

Just buy an unmodified set. You'd go through quite a few drill bits before you bored through the knuckle, AND theres no guarantee it would be straight.

I would think that a 16mm strut used on a 14mm knuckle would be ok, It would be like having both holes knotched to allow for camber adjustment. and as long as you torqued them down properly they shouldnt slip. But I'd think that it would be important to make sure the bolts were at the bottome of the larger holes, other wise you could have instances where a bump would cause one side of the car to be lower then the other (Vertical slipage).... Eh, probably safer just to buy new ones.

I think even toruqued down if you hit a big pump hard enough they would slip and knock you allignment out of wack.

invrtdsa1nt has a little shameless behaviour in the past
i wouldnt even attempt drilling the knuckles to 16mm. i toasted a $33 unibit on modifying the 4 14mm strut holes to 16mm. and thats alot thinner metal. you would have to take it to a shop.
