hey guys. as the title says i have 205/50/15 i wanna tuck on my 02 ex sedan. i have searched the site and nothing really helps me in my question. what options do i have to tuck these size tires on what suspension and how much will it cost me? generally i am looking to spend the least amount of money possible while having the peace of mind that i am driving on a safe set up... thanks for any help guys

edit: [needs to be ride height adjustable just in case i dont wanna ride low anymore lol]

read the suspension faq first.

but it sounds like you want coilovers. and having a "safe" coilover setup is by no means cheap. dont be like me and get sleeved coilovers and run it with stock struts. it blew my OEM struts within weeks and thats a safety hazard when driving

ummmm try making the wheel wells smaller. I don't see that happening and still having any suspension travel, that is of course.... if you have any steering gearbox left.

i read it already. the faq really doesnt help me answer my question. i know it wont be cheap. by cheap i mean under maybe 850 bucks all in all. right now im pretty slammed on ebay coilovers. lol running like 1 finger gap on all 4 corners. just lookig to get that extra finger and add a somewhat comfortable ride. i cant take the ride on they ebay coils anymore... its hurting my back

ya, that aint going to happen. and here's why. As you lower the car you reduce your avalible suspension travel. This in turn makes bottoming out the suspension (not nessisailry the chassis) more likely. Thats why at a minimum, have to cut the bumpstops when you lower a car. As you go lower and lower, simply cutting the bumpstops doenst work, and you must increase the spring rate in order to prevent the suspension from bottoming out and damaging the dampers.... so, as you lower the car your ride quality will get worse and worse. Just one of those things.

Your car must ride so rough, I bet you hear all kinds of rattles and creaks huh.

first off 850, gets you coilovers, cheap coilovers. Second you need camber kits, then you need alignments all the time. Your ebay coilovers aren't gonna cut it. You might want to roll your fenders if you want to slam it. just so you can keep the tires straight but in the fender.

im sure my ride can get more comfortable than it is right now. i fly on lil bumps. i dont hear of any civics flying. lol like i literally catch air... and no i dont get any noises. everything is perfect fitment wise and no noises except for the ride quality. everyone says my car is the bumpiest car they ever riden in. just as long as i dont fly il be happy. 850 can get me some tiens... i dont think those are 'cheap' are they?

i at least want no wheel gap. the wheel gap is so ugly. lol on my stock tires it was tucking a bit i liked it. but after i got my low pros i got a 1 finger gap now.

i dont think i need to roll the fender though. isnt it when you turn the car gets slightly raised, so if if its dropped at perfect height there should be just enough room to tuck and clear the fender while turning correct?

If your run that setup with something like Ebiach sportlines and tokico HP blues your should have no wheel gap in the rear once its all settled.
