Rep Power: 260 yeah, but just buying from someone w/ a good feedback doesn't necessarily mean what they are selling is real... A lot of time knock offs are very hard to tell; whether it be designer clothes/jewelry/handbags or even car parts...
Also, some scammers build up there rating over a period of time and then offer lots of stuff for sale and run w/ the money.
... So relying solely on an ebayer's rating and looking at pictures they offer (which could easily been taken from some website) would be a false sense of security. There's no true way of being sure you're product is real on ebay at the time you're bidding.. that's why people are weary of ebay.

Rep Power: 308 I wouldn't put them in the dumpster, sell them back on ebay
sounds assholish, and is, but let some other poor sap buy them
as far as you know they're real (hint hint) so sell them as real

Anyone know what I can do with them? I don't want to fvck another person on Ebay. And I don't want to trash them, but what are some other things i can do with them. If anyone wants them, I will give them to you for the cost of shipping.

Rep Power: 0 Ok I got some pictures of the FAKE springs. Does anyone know if I should contact Tein and let them know the address that the package was sent from?
Here are the pictures. The Ebay ad even said Authentic Tein springs, in the box everything that came with them looked legit. The paper work looked straight from the Tein factory.

I contacted the people who sent me the springs, I got a prepaid Fedex shipping label from them and they are going to refund my money in full. So the deal is...should I still contact Tein and tell them the company and address and all the information of the company? Or since the company was reputable enough to refund my money and stuff just leave it as it is? I think since the company knew I knew they were fake, they were going to refund my money. I am sure they don't get to many complaints as most people wouldn't know the difference.
So I am super stoked. Looking back at the paypal, I paid $130 shipped for them. So you can see why I got scammed.

Ebay deals are not always TRUE deals. Remember cheaper isn't always better. This case is the perfect example why ebay shopping is dangerous. Ebay is great for a rare movie or CD, hard to find widget and such.....

I was gonna make a new thread, but I found this one. Figured I'd bump it. Just so you know, these things are still floating around out there. I ended up buying these pieces of **** from another member on here, and didn't realize it till a few months later, when i wanted to install them. Tein has a warning up on their website about this now. Link as follows.

dunno. i just bought a set from "jdm-in-stock" or something like that. price was good, and they're guaranteed to be real. i'm gonna take a little road trip and pay someone a visit if they end up being fake.
