Well before this gets locked I'll try to help you out. First of all what is your budget? To my knowledge there is no lowering springs that will go that low. I think Neuspeed Race are the lowest (2.25 F 2.0 R). If you want to go that low you should look into either full coilovers or sleeved ones. If you decide not to go with full coilovers and go with sleeved you're probably going to have to go with Konis or D-Specs shocks for a drop that low.

-edit-
I guess i stand corrected on springs that go that low. I was going on manufactuers specs.

^^^It might have something to do with USE THE SEARCH BUTTON.

But yeah, if you are looking for something low, just get Progress springs, they will run about $50 used. Hell I might sell you mine when I get them off sometime this month.

No they don't. It says it is a 1.5 inch drop, and as you can clearly see, they are really about 3 inches. That is more than double the drop they say it is.

Cheap ebay coilovers sleeves will get you 3" in low. Maybe more when they break.

Go Neuspeed race, camber kit. If your going to use stock shocks, you will kill them in no time.

If your going to use stock shocks that are pre-valved for OEM settings, a 2.5" to 3" lowered spring is not very safe first off. The main reason is that your spring rates at that short of a spring will be much higher. The spring is going to be woven tighter with larger coils in smaller amounts to hold up the weight. This in turn will give you an undesirable ride with the "bouncy" feeling since the shocks are not valved to handle that kind of weith transfer. For that low of a drop the Koni shocks are needed to work safley. Obviously, im very partial to correct suspension setup and many have gone the "drop it hard" and no shocks way and have ended up taking 2 steps. 1st. Buy springs and get install 2nd. Buy shocks, and redo install.

As Peter said, A camber kit will be necessary for correct driveability, handling, and tire wear.

Exactly! Do not waste time with a eBay setup. This will only lead to headaches and more money spent to buy the setup you should have originally bought in the first place to "slam" your ride. Tein Basic's will be enough ride height adjustment for you....but have fun with -1000 degree's of camber without corrective mounts/rear arms.......so overall you are looking between the range of $600-800, so your defintion of cheap may fall in that category....

To achieve a proper 3" drop:

Koni + Ground Control
Progress CS1 Coilovers

We have em both, but besides that, these setups are pre-valved and made to handle the kind of lowering you want.
