Question For those with aftermarket Front camber bolts!

I was wondering how your front camber kit (SPC, Ingalls, ETC) are holding up after installing them. Have they slipped on your causing your alignment to be off?

thanks

They all slip, its the nature of the beast, and the reason I hate them so much.

Yeah, mine are slightly off spec. everytime I check em. But we gotta live with it even though they suck. Unless you're willing to shell out some serious dough for some full coilovers with camber plates.

If you measure in .0001 of a degree or something, then yeah, you may see it daily, but its cumulative over a period of time. Depends how hard you drive the car and how many potholes you hit.

i get mine aligned every year and the second time they said there was nothing off spec (all green). and i drive aggressively around the corners sometimes and the roads here are like going over speedbumps all day.

ya i think if you don't autocross it should last for a while. i'm in the shop every few months for a balance cause the stupid weights keep falling off from the bumpy roads.

have had mine on for over a year or 2 and have never had any problems. I usually get the car aligned ever 3-6 months since it is free and each time the numbers are always within specs.

Thanks for the replies. SPC recomends 80lb/ft to torque down the bolts, are you guys using higher numbers?

This is my first post I dont know if I should start a new topic or just use this one. I have EP3, recently got it. I lowered it and have camber kit with these bolts that are under discussion(no problems yet). Only question I have is with the specs for alignment. Should person doing the alignment use factory specs or are there different ones for being lowered? I have Skunk2 springs on it which dropped it about 2 inches and I cannot find any specs for the alignment for them. Thanks.

For the most part stock specs are what i always suggesting to start with on any modified car. Then re-evaluate the tire wear after say 1000 miles to see if it will require more or less toe/camber and go from there. Unless your setting it up for racing then im sure some of our racers will suggest some ideal /prefered specs.
