Go here for the pricing and diagrams: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...tcgry5=KNUCKLE

Reference 3, 4, 19 & 20 on the pic. You'll need one for each side.
Total for both sides $ 56.60

It's my understanding that you can only buy the ball joint as part of the complete knuckle assembly for like 125 bucks or something.

Look for a torn boot. once the boot is torn, the grease gets out and dirt gets in the joint. sooner or later the joint gets worn out and it makes a clunking sound when you go over bumps and uneven pavement.

Edit: you can drive like this for months or years but if the joint becomes so worn that it snaps while you're driving, you are looking at a 1300 dollar repair job for new everything inside the wheel well at best, and a dangerous crash at worst.

^^Hmm..that's interesting..thanks for that info..

I've been trying to find out about this cluking noise my car makes every time I go over bumps or bad roads..at first I thought it was the rod ends on my endlinks..but it sounds like it could be this joint thing..

CoupeStylz, how did your boot get torn? Are aour cars prone to this?

Jack your car up and take the wheels and shake them. If there is any free play, then the ball joint is bad.
