how logn do springs last

i've done a search and couldnt come up with the answer sorry.

i want to know how long springs will last approx?
less than 5 yrs? 5-10 yrs? 10 - 20 yrs? 20+? ...

im particularly looking at neuspeed for my 05 sedan, 1.7F 1.5R.

also.. can tokico blue hp handle this drop? is it lifetime warranty with this drop (i heard that its warrantied lifetime for drops under 1.5")?

springs last as long as they don't get terribly rusty. They may weaken over time, but should last at good 5-10 years depending on weather and driving conditions. Yes tokico's would help, but you might look into Konis or D-Specs over HPs.

Eleventy billion years. Its metal. Shocks go, springs tend not to. The can lose some elasticity but they will outlast the car. There's more than a few 50 year old cars riding on their original springs.

okay thanks.

can you guys help me out and give me suggestions on shocks to use with my soon to be neuspeed springs (1.7F 1.5R) on my 05 Sedan/

reliability is my number one concern, then ride (i like it smooth) and then everyone else.

Oh..my buddy had his Neuspeeds with Konis..and his car rode...really nice..smooth and everything..Koni is one of the shocks to go man !

I've been on Tein S Techs the third day i got my car..So its been 6 months now.
With normal driving..how long would my stock shocks last? Just wondering..i'm gonna go with Konis next summer..

I have the same springs you are looking at and I have had both Koni and Tokicos and based on what you said you are looking for I would definitely recommend the Tokicos. I found them to ride a lot smoother than the Konis. Not nearly as harsh and if you aren't ever going to adjust them and just plan normal driving they will be a better match with what you want. My $.02.
