Exclamation Clacking and popping noise from front steering arms on the Tein Type Flex

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have the flex coilovers and i have a problem when i turn the wheels. At slow speeds when the wheels are turned nearly all the way left or right, a loud popping/clacking noise is generated. I think it is from the steering arms but i'm not sure. I have a few ideas, but i want to see what you guys think first.

I had the same problem, the steering arms were rubbing on the metal firewall, the best thing to do is locate where it hits it, then just bend a section of it out of the way with some visegrips. I noticed it while backing up, with the wheels cranked all the way left or right.

You need to put grease on the top and bottom of the spring. Sometimes it gets "stuck." It goes "boing." Also, you have to hammer all 3 lock nuts into place. They have a tendency to get loose.
