scratching noise

scratching noise
I keep getting this scratching noise in the right rear. But when I aplly the brakes it stops.It was doing it a while ago but I thought it was to low so I raised it and it stopped foe a few days.But now its back....It sounds like something is scratching but I dont see any damage any where...Any ideas what it could be?
