i put the front end progress springs on my 01 civic no problem. but the rear i could not do because the bolt from the bottom of the shock to the control arm wouldnt come out. will it be a problem with the front lowered and not the back? i have an appointment at the dealership to get it looked at and i should have the back lowered within a few days so its not longterm

It shouldnt cause a mechanical problem. People may make fun of you for driving a snowplow, but then you can slap them, call them your b**** and remind them its summer and that makes it a leaf rake.

uuhm...for the bottom bolt on the rear, put a piece of wood near it and hit it with a hammer to get it out, well at least thats what i did..but putting back is a different story

no it won't do any harm short term but cornering will be wierd and people will think you're a ricer.

if the leaf rake and ricer names are the most i have to worry about, then im a happy man. it doesnt look too too bad, but if the back will look like the front when all is fixed, then ill be an even happier man, thank you

If the back looks higher than the front when you first get them on, dont freak out. It will take a few weeks for the springs to settle and even out. Good luck, post pics when your done.

well its a 1.8 in the front and a 2.0 in the back, so initially i think itll look even anyway. but yeah its lookin like its gonna be good. will definatly post pics

hey, while the attention is still on this thread slightly, i have another question. the problem with the rubber catching on the bolt has taken a turn for the worse, 100 seems to be the lowest people are charging for JUST THE REAR SPRINGS , and those people didnt know it had the problem with the rubber. someone at fuzion, i dont know if anyone knows the place, said it would be 170 AT LEAST because they had to melt the rubber out. someone please help, if anyone knows a store in the philly area thatll do it for any amount cheaper than that let me know becaue i think im about to take it in the tail pipe
