Type S Swaybar questions.
Hey everyone, someone on the local import buysell is selling an RSX type S swaybar, 19mm. He had it on his 2002 Civic Si, i was wondering if it would fit my 2001 LX Coupe? Also, where does it install? I know upper strut bar's and all that, never really got to much into suspension game on my old car, so i dont know where/how a swaybar goes in. Any info u can give me would be super D duper.
Thanks
Thanks
I dont know if the 2001 dx/lx had stock rear sway bars.. so it might take more work than just a direct bolt on. I believe Progress makes an adapter kit for the civics that did not come with sway bars. try seraching around... I think u might find some pics or something.. good luck!
and if you can get it on.. you will notice that ur car will handle better

Yup progress makes an adapter that will allow you to run a rear sway bar. The process invloves drilling some holes to mount the new bar but the kit will show you where to drill. The adapter kit is like 120 from tornactive.com but you might be able to find it for cheaper elsewhere.
