neuspeed race?

i ordered a set of neuspeed race springs and i have a question for anyone who might have them. on the bottom or top, the springs are desinged to be flat. So like if you set the spring on a table it would sit there perfectly flat. my stock springs arent like this and the end of the coils of the springs is the lowest part, so if you sat it on a table, it wouldnt sit flat, it would wobble or fall over. did i get sent the wrong springs?

Hi!

I just install a set of Neuspeed Sport
and I put the flat part of the spring in
the bottom of the strut, where there is
no rubber, so they seat perfectly. I have
zero noise of coil binding or anything. I
think that's the right way to install them.
For the rear, there is only one way to install
them as one side is bigger than thr other.

Oh, by the way, you got the right springs,
mine were like yours...

My neuspeeds sit flat on the bottom. Thats quite interesting, I dont think that you got sent the wrong springs per say, I think you may have gotten a defective set? Maybe the pre-load wasnt set properly when the fab'd the spring? Iono what to say.

I had the same question regarding this issue. So i contacted Neuspeed, they emailed me and this is what they had to say: "The front springs have one end that is ground flat. The flat end needs to be positioned up against the strut bearing. On the rear spring, it does not matter which side is up. "

I initially placed the front with flat side on bottom and it made my car uneven and with a fairly big wheel gap. After flipping them, the car sat lower and even.
