ultra confused now...

Ok soo a month ago I was looking to get coilovers now I really confused. I decided I don't wanna pay around 1350 for adjustable damper and height coilovers. But I do want height at least. I got an offer for k speed coilovers that are adjustable in height and damper. I was talking to a friend and hes like well you could always get koni sports and CG or koni sports and springs. I really dunno how much that will cost. Soo confused and I dunno if maybe I should just get coilovers soo I just adjust height. Basically if I can get height and damper adjustment for under 800 I'll do it. If i can't then I'll get just height...someone said that the tein basics suck and I was looking at those for a alternative. What do you all think?

first off i have the tein basics and i love them, but if you choose to go a different route you should:

Coilover sleeves:

Skunk2
or
GroundControls w/konis

Springs:

GoldLine
H&R
Eibachs...etc w/konis

or you could wait for the omni power coilovers if they are not out from what ive heard they are one of the best bang for the buck

I say try to find some used GC (they go pretty cheap) and buy some koni's, if your prepared to install the inserts or pay someone else to do the install. If your not looking into serious autocross/open track and just want height adjustability then tein basics or b+g's should be fine.

yeah thats my car dropped on the basics, smooth ride if the roads are good and not to filled with potholes, and the reason they are so $$$ is that our cars are newer and they make less of them so price is arm and a leg give a few more years then they'll be like $650 but i plan on getting the TEIN Flex they just came out for our cars
