coilover question

just installed the kw v2 coilovers. the dampening is all jacked up and rides horrible, worse than blown struts.

any suggestions on the easiest/best way to get it adjusted out?

i know how to adjust them but just curious if there was an easy way to adjust the dampening with out trial and error. i already messed with it for about 2 hours and am not getting very far. any ideas would be great

Are you sure the preloads are all set similarly? That means the front springs should be around the same height and the rear springs should be the same height. The dampening shouldn't affect your ride that terribly. Just put them all to full soft and see what happens. If you say that it is worse than with blown struts, I think you installed them incorrectly or did not set the spring correctly. You also have to realize that the springs are A LOT stiffer than stock.

Figure out which way to turn the **** that makes it full soft. Thats about as good as its going to get. Unpreload the springs so that they just snugly fit between the collars at full extension so you don't have any extra effective rate worked into the system.
500 lb springs don't lend nicely to comfy rides.
