alright here is my problem my tein basics are at a 2" dropped and i want to drop it more but once i adjust the spring seat i can move the spring up and down and it becomes very loose, so i was wonder if i do drop it a .5" or slam it will the strut compress to make it tight again or what. need help thx

Rep Power: 393 of course it will(strut will compress to it).. its just when you jack up the car you'll have the same problem of it being loose. There's some disadvantages to this but eh its not too badd and if I was in your shoes I would just go ahead and set it at the height I want it at. If you've ever seen ground controls on stock shocks you'll notice that the spring can move up and down like 2 inches...

I'm on d2 coilovers now(got them from www.urbanimport.com its not listed on their site so you have to call them) and they ride awesome. Hayames rode nice with 14s but I just needed something better for my 18s.

Keep in mind that the more you lower your car, unless you have coilovers with independent ride height and travel adjustment, you will lose shock travel. This will make you more liable to bottoming out.

Rep Power: 0 if i bought a set of tein s.s. dampers would i have to buy new struts too?? i'm just starting to price out some setups and i was wondering if i bought a set of dampers, do they replace the struts too??
