Dropping with a kit?

I just bought an evo5 kit and i was wondering how much ground clearance would i have if i put my 1.75" drop springs back on in the summer. i also have 205/40/17 rims/tires.

takumi is on a distinguished road
Wtf? He has an EVO5 body kit, he's dropped 1.75", and he's riding on 205/40/17s. He wants to know how much ground clearance he'll have. What don't you understand? Lol..

205-40-17 is pretty small. but then again i'm on 195-55-15 which are pretty much the same size. I have a 2.5" drop and I scrape everywhere. Luckily I have a urethene kit though. With a 1.75" drop, it shouldnt be too badd, just drive carefully. On your next tire purchase, I would try and get something a little thicker though. 215-40-17 or maybe 205-45-17

A lot of people dont realize how much the tire size has on ground clearance. with my 18s I could drive however i want without having to worry about scraping. now with my 15s, i scrape even when going as slow as I can

^^^^^^^my tires and rims are much the same height that my stock rims were, but thanks so i should be good with the 1.75 drop.
