Out with the purple....
In with the BLUE!

My new Hypercoils just came.
Finally I can stop my damn bouncing front end and maybe get some traction. I've figured out over the last 6 months that 500 lb springs on the front end is bad on all but the most perfect surfaces... so anywhere but the race track, the ride is kinda choppy, but more than that, when pulling out of a hard corner, the front end didn't have enough flex in it to dig in... now hopefully it does... these are 400 pounders, which should also make the front/rear shift a little more favorable... 400/560 seems to be much better than an almost even 500/560... of course the rear will get a little more happy, but not that I mind as long as its predictable. As soon as I can find a jack and some stands (mine are at home), I'll pop them in (bless coilovers once again). These springs should also be a higher quality than the ones that came with it (i.e., the rate is more accurate, it'll hold its tolerances much better, etc...).

just remember even good quality springs are only gaurenteed to be like within 5% of what they say. but changing from 500 to 400 you should feel a diff. either way.
And no rob, they're not JIC springs.... the collars on the coils will take any 2.5" spring.
