if i get lowering springs, will it just lower my car and make the ride worse?

are difference between the basic teins and ss tiens big enough to justify dropping a few more bills on it? i don't auto-X yet but i did do some offroad rally/gravel drifting in my car which was very fun

YEs it will make your ride worse
It is up to you to decide if the difference between the SS and the basic is worth it. Look on Teins site for the difference. If you want to autox then you better buy parts for the class you want to race in, don't buy parts and then get stuck in a class you will get your *** beat in.
