I want to lower my car for a sportier look without sacrificing performance. I also do not want to spend too much money, so I was thinking of springs. I don't want anything radically low(It snows like crazy where I am and there are deep pot holes) and nothing to noisy.

I was thiking one of these:

Eibach Pro Kit
Tein S Tech
H&R OE Sport


Anyhow what are you opinions guys?

Those three springs are great. You can't go wrong with either one of them. Eibach & Tein would be slightly softer than H&R.

There are a lot of Tein S techs for sale on ebay for our civics as oposse to the the HR and Eibach springs. Which of the three has better quality.

if you live in an area where theirs major potholes, bumps, dips, bad weather, i'd personally wouldnt lower the car with the stock shocks cause eventually they can blow. so its a big risk if your willing to take it..


you should add in the neuspeed sports, heard good stories about those with the ppl who have them on. arent the tein s-tech springs made specifically to go with the OEM civic shocks?

the s-techs are nice.. i got them on my car (with oem struts) and i've had them on for 6000+ miles with no problems (cross country road trip, shitty road conditions in sc...)

how do you know you have blown your shocks? does it make noise as you drive or does it just feel like you are hoppin around everywhere?

basically when it feels bouncy really.....sometimes you can lift the car and see if there leaking to.
