Shocks Help

Are the shocks for 01 and 02 different than the 03?
i hav an 03 2dr and i was lookin on ebay
at the tokico hp's and it sez
will only fit 01 and 02, but not 03 and 04???? wut the??

yeah they have different bolts. The 01-02 had 14mm strut mount bolts and the o3-04 have 16mm I believe. The ones for the Si/RSX are 16mm and should work.

so if i were to get these shocks, id have to drill the holes on the shocks to make them bigger? would that be safe?

yes. Slowvic just did that to his. He had the 14mm bolts in tokico's bored out to a 16mm.

He is selling his shocks because he says they still just do not fit right on his 03' , at least that is how I interpreted it. See for yourself

he fixed them. He had his uncle bore the 14mm holes in the strut mount up to a 16mm. I know, I spoke with him last week at our autox.

I tried to get rid of them. Then I realized I was screwed and had to make them fit. All is well for now.
