Hey all,

First post here, and first decent car I've ever had heh.

I just bought a 98 civic ex off a girl from school, and it's all stock. I'm aching to add some performance.

Is this a decent deal?

What else would you do right away (keeping in mind that I am poor as hell )

Thanks.

Thats a 6th gen civ great model to bad it wasnt an SI. Well for suspention yea whats your looking at fine if your (on a budget) I had tokico on my teg with neuspeed springs and that had a tight ride. After you drop the car you can go with a strut bar and tie bar to complete the feel. As for performance just go with the basics I/H/E. Throw some rims on and your set.

seems like a good deal. But look around for a better setup. I know the older modeal civics have a more wide range of products to choose from. Try and get some shocks that are adjustable. Tokico HP's are adjustable. Those arent. What are you looking for. Height adjustability? If that, I would recommend some full coilovers. Just look around.

theirs also other sites that can probably give you more information about the 6thgencivic

www.clubcivic.com
www.honda-tech.com

but before buying parts, research them so you wont regret it. compare prices,is it the best bang for the buck? what others think about that product, does it give the best improvements? is this better then that?, etc etc.

welcome to the site

Please read the FAQ in my signature. There is also an Autox FAQ which can give you some suspension information. Before you buy, research, research, research.
