**UPDATE**failed camber kit install
Well, got my SPC camber kit yesterday and decided to give it a shot installing the rear arms today using Grey's DIY. Well, I got the bolts loose from the stock camber thing... the ones that go into the body of the car, pretty easy to undo with some good arm power. next i had to take out the bolt that was mounted on the rotor..... no luck there. i huffed and i puffed with all my strenth and that b!tch would not budge. i used a ton of WD40 and huffed and puffed some more and nothing....... that fvcker is in there right. i wish i had an air gun
anyway, it looks like a really simple install...... 3 bolts in and out and you're done. prolly would take me less then 5 mins with air tools.
i wasnt planning on adjusting it today..... i was gonna get an alignment shop to adjust it when they do an alignment...... i just wanted to install the damn thing to save some money.
well, next week i'll start looking for a shop thats willing to do it for a cheap price because its a helluva easy swap by the looks of it.
i didnt even bother with the front cuz they are just 2 bolts and i'll get the shop to do it.

The shop that did mine charged me only $50 to do front and rear camber kit install. If they're looking to charge more than that I would try to bargain. I also need to get it adjusted too. Haven't had the time to do that yet.

out of curiosity, did you try both sides of it? I'm pretty sure that the nut is welded to the upper control arm. If thats the side you tried, I'm not surprised you got nowhere. Its only 45 lb-ft, it should come right off.

ha yeah. thats the problem i had when i did mine, i tried for a good hour on the welded side to then realize i was an idiot, then i switched to the other side and i just used some arm muscle and i got it. it was a very easy install otherwise.

Give up and let someone who knows what they're doing accomplish this before you hurt yourself!

well, i got the rear camber arms in today. you guys were right, the nut is welded and the bolt comes out pretty easy. i shouldnt of been so quick and given up yesterday after i tried unscrewing the welded bolt haha.
anyway, this install was so easy. 3 bolts in and out, couldnt get simpler. i adjusted the camber the best i could but now my tires are hitting the fender. on monday i'm gonna have to cut more of that inner lip off. before the camber kit my wheels tucked under the fender really well cuz the wheels were like / \
anyway, thanx for the help.
