I've got a little problem

I just installed my rear spc camber arms and now it sounds like my driver side tire is rubbing... I didn't adjust the camber and there is still a nice sized gap so i don't see how it could be rubbing. It does look like its lower than the other side though, maybe a finger lower. Anyways it sounds like something scraping. Any ideas? thanks ahead of time!

Heres a pic of my camber arm that may be the cause of the noise... i also included a pic of the front camber screw just cause i wanted to ask you guys if i put it on right (i haven't tightned it yet). The other pic is of an annoying little screw thats holding on a panel in the rear wheel well. Its that type of screw that is too pieces... its like a screw inside of a plug and the screw presses the plug outwards to keep it in place. Anyways these ones are a lot harder to get out than some of the other ones that i've run into on the car. Are there any special techniques to get it out? all its doing is turning on itself but the screw isn;t coming out!!! I also tried to hold the plug while i turned the screw and it didn't seem to help!

the front is correct, just tighten it and make sure the washer is flush with the strut(the little thing that sticks out should be inside the hole).
why are you trying to take out the plug?

You should easily be able to tell if the noise is from rubbing or not. if its rubbing, than put more negative camber... if the noise is not from rubbing, you probably need preload on the bushings when installing the camber kit

looks like you're running TeinStechs which isnt much of a drop so i dont think your tire is rubbing anything. it could be the bushing in the SPC camber arms that are making a noise...... but i dont think it would make a rubbing noise, more like squeeking.

if i was in the same situation i would just mess around with my camber in the rear until i found the place where it doesnt rub. try to set it so the tires will be as close to center as possible and then work your way in and out. try trial and error and see what happens.

The little thing that sticks out should be in what hole?? I'm going to go out to the garage and see if i see what ur talking about. Also... i'm thinking that the noise is from the bushings b/c it sounds like squeaks sortof... so how do i fix that?

About that plug though... its holding on a plastic cover that is covering up the "fuel pipes" coming from the gas cover. The cover was making it hard to remove the right bolt on the original camber arm. anyways... so i took off the plastic cover but i left the plug in. Like when you unbutton a shirt. now its hard to put it back on in reverse so i want to unscrew it and take it out that way. I hate that screw. i might have nightmares!!! LOL

also... i don't get how you adjust the camber in the front with that bolt! Do you use the long tab on the washer to push on the strut as you tighten? It doesn't matter if i know, i just hope the guy at the alignment shop knows...

LOL, the plug your just going to have to play with. Too lazy to check what type of plug it exactly is.

The squeeking, does it also kinda sound like a rattle? did you install the camber kit?

the front camber the alignment shop should know
but just fiy, you loosen the bottom bolt too, then start turning the top camber bolt and you should see the camber change. I would just leave it and let the shop mess with it though.
