HFP/A-Spec packages
Do you guys think that Honda/Acura dropped the ball on this in terms of the suspension? I think that they should have made the suspension package standard equipment on the Civic Si and Acura RSX type-S. I mean these two cars are supose to be for the sport compact scene right? Post your replys.
Honda dropped the ball pricing the RSX to begin with.
And I dunno what to think of those packages because I've never rode on them. The price makes it hard for even a good amount of people to give an opinion on it to whether it's worth it or not. If not, sure... why not? As long as it's practical. (Not everyone who bought RSXs and Civic Sis are into modding - gotta make $ from those people since they are the prime targets of car buyers.)

First off, these cars AREN'T made for the sport compact scene. People chose them for the scene. I have yet to see a Mugen or Spoon offically produced Honda/Acura, unlike other companies that have performance divisions and are producing cars like SVT, mazdaspeed, TRD, etc. Their main focus is making money off people who don't know what they are doing so they charge an arm and a leg on parts. Any dealer part is like that. I would still replace the factory suspension package with better aftermarket parts so why should they put money into something I am going to replace or 90% of the buyers are completely fine with.
