okay ..i didn't get the ground controls to save my shocks i got them to adjust the ride height up and down without purchasing a 850+ kit....that's why i got them. Besides there made from a well known company so the quality i know is very good....compared to ebay coilvers. Of course any coilvers that are sleeves is gonna blow the shocks but the way there made and quality of them is the "GOOD" im speaking of.

GET THESE
i have 17's on my cpe my brother owns ipsracing.com he knows more than anyone ive talked to about specs n crap for hondas (acura also) he said the best brand to get is tein the springs are high quality and the ones i got drop the rear 1.75 and the front like 1.68 or sumthin the chamber he said is adjustable on the strut bolt placing so unless you are droppin it like 2.5 or closer to 3 inches or more you dont have to buy a chamber kit.
i had the same question as u before he answered me. plus the springs were like 130. downside they are green on my black car but u really dont see them and can paint them anyway

skunk2 coilovers are also good

had them since early 2004 and shocks never blown (yet... *knocks on wood*). but im not quite sure for my front shocks because i've never checked them. rears are fine. but i myself, heard many negative stories about GC's on stock struts. but isnt their 2 kinds of GC's you can buy? theirs one thats made to be combined with koni yellow's and ones that can be meant to with stock struts?

springs: 150+
GC: 320+
skunk2: 200+

Yes there are 2 different types of ground controls. If you buy the ones for stock shocks, and later decide to get koni's, you just have to order an adaptor, not a whole new set of ground controls.

I have heard riding with blown or worn shocks will cause your breaks to wear faster.
