They are OEM replacements, non-adjustable and not meant to be lowered on, therefore, not very much use to most people on this site.

Wrong, tokico blues are VERY popular for dropped hondas, also for the 98-02 accord these are one of the only options for stock shock replacements, read the decription it clearly says for "will work with high performance lowering springs", They are probley the same ones used with Hayames coilovers, just a different color

Don't shocks have to match lower springs to avoid compresion issues and premature failure? If not, somebody please check these out.

I know they are high performance shocks and I guess I underestimated their uses. I think they can be used on lowered cars, however they aren't adjustable like the illuminas. My fault.

if they are the real deal. then it will be a full replacement. this is the reason that tokico is takeing to so long to come out. tokico was not comeing out with inserts. i dont belive that this seller has them. but to doubble check e-mail him, and ask him for a picture of the acctual sturts. if he sends you the same pic, thats on the ebay then dont buy them because the ones pictured are not for our car.

I've been waiting for these to come out and been looking at stores, but no one has had them. Now though a few do... http://www.ultrarev.com/ecart/shopexd.asp?id=46199 ... so I think that they are finally out.

I ordered a set from Tokico to check out. So hopefully, they will be here soon. I have sold tons of the blues with lowering springs. They work.

Those new Tokico HP Blues are not cartrages on front, those are the complete strut. This means NO cutting your OEMs like the Konis.
