SPW coilovers--are they any good

hey, i am getting a nice deal on some coilovers, they are spw's. right now i have H&R springs installd on my ride with 17inch rims looks good. i was wondering if i should get these coilovers and sell my H&R's. i don't know much about the the spw coilovers, can someone give me some advice, i am getting the coilovers for about $65. i don't want a horrible ride cuz i got a fiber glass body kit.

SPW=Hayame. They're not the full ones, though. Sleeve coils just won't ride well, period.

You get what you pay for... in most suspension cases.

$65? Wouldn't touch it.

i'm so new at this sorry guys, but what do you mean their the sleeve coilovers, i want to drop it at about 2'', right now my H&R's are about 1.5-1.6''

Sleeved coilovers are sleeves that go around your stock strut. The spring adjusts with it sitting on top of a perch. Sleeved coilovers (such as Ground Control and Skunk2) should allow up to a 4 inch drop.

True coilovers include new struts with matching spring rates. Some are height adjustable, shock adjustable and preload adjustable. Some don't adjust at all. The more options you have, the more expensive the coilover.

i wouldnt recommend them not because they're spw but because they're sleeved coilovers as other have mentioned. anything under $350 is going to be sleeved coilovers and those are things i would stay away from
