aight my bad ya'll i konw its against y'all to post up some new topic when its already there...i dont usually come on this site cuz i dont have a 7gen. my cuz does and he just picked up some r1 racing coilovers. he wanted to know if its safe to put them on without replacing ur shocks and camber plates. or wahts the best way to go on about. this will probably be my first and last thread/post. thanx for the help and i appologize in advance...
I would strongly recommend you replace the shocks. As for camber plates I am not sure if the 01 + Civic came with oem camber plates.
But most definetaly replace the shocks, or you will have a really bouncy and harsh ride.

I would replace the shocks also and get a camber kit for both front and rear. Not necessary but highly suggested. Camber plates only exist on true coilovers for certain cars or they are made by certain companies. If you are talking about a 01+ civic then there are no camber plates available yet.
