What tyre size is that in the picture of your car with the Neuspeed Race Springs ? The fronts look quite high for Race.

****...I don't remember what size....I'll have to check when I get my car back in about a week or two. (Got into an accident, so the body is being fixed)

The front IS higher. For two reasons:

1) I didn't have my Koni's on in that picture, and the rear shox were blown...BAD, so the rear is saggin'

2) I only have 16" rims, so yes there IS some wheel gap, but it's still HELLA low. I scrape the mid-pipe of my exhaust ALL THE TIME. It's not that bad, but I do scrape.

Here's a pic of my whip with the stock 15" steelies, and my 205/50/15 Falken Azenis race tires on. There's a lil less gap here, maybe 1 finger or so...

Another, the car to the left has the EXACT same set-up, Koni's and Neuspeed. He's on the SI rims, with stock tires...only diff. is he's got the Type-B front lip and mud-flaps so it looks lower.

Again...left two cars, Koni/Neuspeed Far right vic, STOCK suspension, with 17's on. It's a hefty drop man. Make no mistake, you're not "tucking" but you're pretty low....low enough for me. IMO

I've got about 5" clearance (good guess, not exact) between the ground and the lowest part of my car. Usually only the MIDDLE of the exhaust mid-pipe scrapes though. Good thing about this set-up...I HARDLY ever bottom out. Neuspeed's are stiff enough, and the Koni's keep the force in check. It's a bit of a rough ride at times, but WELL worth the handling gains.

My car was settled in about 5 hours. lol

But fully settled and normal, maybe a week MAX. It takes a few turns to make the car look like it's dropped.

Your ride looks very nice with those steelies. I would drop the current rims on your ride and put those steelies back on. Very nice drop which is not low till it makes driving impractical. I think the Neuspeed Race is good stuff. It's stiff and corners very well. Add in those konis and the ride becomes almost as good as coilovers. Sorry about your ride mann. So it's almost done soon ?

You're kidding right? lol I'd NEVER rock the steelies for Daily Driving !!! But that's just my taste....CLASS.

Yeah...the car's ALMOST done...I hope. I haven't been to check it out lately, so I'm going by what the shop tells me...about another week or so....I've missed it for TWO WEEKS now..and it's gonna be another week 'till I drive it again.

It's a DRASTIC change from my civic to a STOCK Neon SE...man....talk about SOFT suspension!! I take a corner and I RUB the tires on the fender wells !!! lol

Neon SE

Seriously dude, steelies are the way to go. Gives you that track car look. I would be on steelies all the way if I had a black coupe like yours.

I see what you're saying. It does kinda give the "I don't F*** around" vibe.

But honestly... THESE give that "Track car look" IMO

Thanks for the pic B !
