RSX strut and spring

I am to try to drop an OEM DC5 type-S strut and spring(ONLY) into EM2. I wonder what exactly is the parts needed. I did a search on the forum but it all comes back as switching the whole suspension system, therefore, kind of tired now. Anyone can help?

just the shock and the spring. The whole thing should just swap in. The problem you might face is that they springs might be different lengths or spring rates so you might get some lopsidedness or sagging.

the fronts might not work out that well, because holes for the knuckles are larger on the dc5 than on the em2

I heard that to properly set the alignment is to change to a RSX tie rod. But as far as I know, there's no tie rod on the suspension(am I correct?) I searched acuraautomotiveparts.org under "front shock absorber" and "kunckle" there's nothing called "tie rod" in contrast to the older DW suspensions......

Try looking in the Steering rack drop down. Considering the tie rod is the piece in your steering system that turns the wheels, that would be the likely place to find it.
They will theoretically go in, but the car won't ride evenly because of the different spring lengths.
