On Lowering
i have a 03 Civic running on 17s with body kit. Im planning on dropping it 1.5. I plan on taking it to a shop..is it just any auto shop or a specific one? also..will i have to provide the lowering kits and they install it or do they provide them? what would be the total cost..an estimation if possible..thanks

I really don't want to seem mean, but you seem like you know nothing about lowering. I will am going to warn you that if you take your car to a place to get it lowered, they will rip you off if you know nothing on the subject. also, you run the risk of having a badly riding car. Please read the Suspension FAQ and Suspension Tuning 101 up above.
It is cheaper to buy online and DIY rather than take it to a shop. But if you are uncomfortable then buy online and take those to a shop. price will vary from shop to shop.

If your NOT going to DIY the install make sure that you find a good shop that will install them for you. Not all shops will install customer supplied parts. There ar many different brands of drop springs. My personal opinion is Eibach brand springs. But somewill argue till the end of time whats better. If you plan on having a shop do the work ask around from other tuner people and see who does thier work and if they are happy whith the service. And as Rob stated above read the FAQ he has they cover A LOT of this info. And feel free to post lots of question that could be found by doing a search Rob LOVES to lock threads
