Question tein SS

Well i know im going to get a bunch of crap for this post but all i want to know is what exactly do i need to install Tein Super Street coiloverson my 02 civic... Some people say you need an upper mount from an 01 civic... some say you dont. And what is included with this upper mount (all the grommets or just a mount or what?)

What the hell is the real story here... I'd like to have all the info before i spend 900 or more dollars on a suspension thats going to **** me over during the installation process.

thanks for any info...

You do need the 01 upper mounts. I am about to get my Tein SS's myself. I am gonna search for the part number a little later.

The squeaking some people experience is from not cutting the dust boot low enough. So make sure you cut yours low enough.

On the 2002 our R front and L front shock absorber mounts are part number 465586 and 465628 respectivly... On the 2001 they are part numbers 369033 and 369034 respectivly... ( they are figure 10 and 11)
From the Honda parts book it says they're about $23 each...

Let me try to find the rear ones...

These are the parts you will need for tein ss/basics. Part # and prices too

Parts you need
Front:
------
369032 Part 9 (BEARING, FR. SHOCK ABSORBER MOUNT) $13.98 X 2
369034 Part 10 (MOUNT, R. FR.) $23.45 X 1
369034 Part 11 (MOUNT, L. FR.) $23.45 X 1

For some reason the info I found differs from the info that Xerox posted, who is right??

For as long as I can remember the fronts have been the only thing where you needed extra stuff for.

The rears were fine.

There are peeps on this site that haven't bought anything and used the stock front uppermounts and haven't had a problem. It's just not recommened by TEIN.

Yeah i would also like to know if you would need anything for the rear on the basic or SS. I know the front just needs the bearing and mounts. But, does the rear need the mounts and bearings or does Tein include that with the basic or SS?
