Lightbulb Upper strut bar

I've done a few searches and can't find anything. Has anyone tried to make their own upper strut bar? It seems many aftermarket intakes woun't work with many bars and I thought it would be neat to make a bar that could be monified for different intakes!

Yeah I have the Neuspeed and never looked back, I would go with that for sure. Unless your more for looks then you could go with DC Sports.

LMAO...guess not! If you did...you didn't search hard enough...lol, j/k man..it's all good.

1) The Neuspeed/DC upper front strut bar WILL fit with CAI/SRI

2) If you made your own strut bar...you'd prolly end up making a design VERY similar to the Neuspeed, and if not, it'd be like the DC...which has it's problems (not to say that it doesn't serve the purpose, it's just not as good as the Neuspeed IMO)

3) If you made a strut bar that can be modified...that'd just be a waste of metal. The point to a strut bar is to strengthen...if you made a modifiable bar, there would be TOO MANY moving parts, thus weakening the overall structure of the bar, thus rendering it useless, or at least less usefull. Furthermore, why would you want to fabricate a strut bar, when there is already a GREAT one in mass production and readily available for reasonable prices. [cough]robearracing.com[/cough] <----cheap plug for my boi Rob

IMO...it would be a waste of money, time, effort, and thought...that could better be used for other things. lol

BUT....that's just my $0.02
