my teins

i just put in my tein coilovers this past weekend. i lovvvvvvvvvve the ride. the only problem was...
if any of you '02+ civics are planning to buy the basic dampers or superstreets anytime soon, make sure you also buy the stock '01 upper mounts. tein will come out with the upper mounts pretty soon so just ask about them b4 you buy. i got alot of binding noise at first but it's gone now. i'm pretty sure they're not fit on right as of now but i can't really tell. i got mine from parts411.com for a pretty good price (thanks jeff).

what's up with the upper mount?
I have a 02 civic with Tein SS too. I used my stock upper mount. Does make noise sometime. Is that the reason?

01 and 02 upper mount design diffently, and that Tein was design for 01 model, cuz Tein dont know Honda change that stuff.....

once you jack up ur two front tires for like oil change or somethin.....ur 2 front units will come loose......search for this topic!

well, try it, let see what happen then.......

wait i'm confused... after reading the sticky about '01 suspension replaced. so the 01 mounts are faulty... and those of us with teins need 01 mounts... whats the solution?
