Spoon?
sounds good to me...but if ur gonna spend that much, may as well get mugen or somethin...and plus, i don't think the spoon stuff fits on our cars, u'd have to modify them. I'd personally go with progress front/rear-tie sway bar combo (fits nice), neuspeed upper strut, or cusco, and get the cusco rear strut for sure, tanabe sustec underbrace, or neuspeed x-brace. Those will keep ur chassy from flexing, bending, stretching, squishing, or whatever your mind can come up with. ^_^

well, that depends on a lot of things, like how do you want the car to handle, do you like a bit of understeer or oversteer? what are you doing for springs? Shocks? theres a whole lot more that needs to be covered.

I honestly want a smooth ride and wanna be able to take turns with no problems Im not sure about under steer or over steer but I have Tein Basic's and Im rolling on 18's if that matters Im going to do engine work so I guess I need my suspension done as well.
I went to Hondawerx.com and they have all the spoon products advertised for our cars so Im assuming that they will fit with no problems. Again Im assuming since I know nothing about suspension.

well not to be mean. But if you really want to upgrade your suspension, then please do research first. If you know nothing about suspension, read all the FAQ's above for the basics.
The rear spoon upper tie bar will fit, the rear sway bar will fit, the rear under tie bar will fit and the front under tie bar will fit. If the front sway is made for an RSX then it won't fit. The front strut seems like it will fit but not with a CAI.

oh ya, definision of terms:
Understeer is when the front wheels are carving a larger arc than the rear wheels. This is often described as "push" or "pushing" - as the front end feels like it is plowing off of a corner.
(I.e. you turn the wheel and you still go straight)
Oversteer is when the rear wheels are carving a larger arc than the front wheels or the intended line of the turn. Rear "slip angles" exceed those of the front tires. This is often described as a "loose" condition, as the car feels like it may swap ends, or be "twitchy."
(I.e. you turn and the rear end slides out on you)
street cars are designed to understeer in almost all circumstances.
My advice, go and pick up an RSX rear anti-roll bar for $80 (they call it a stabilizer bar), put it on the car and drive it. you may not need to do any thing else.
as far as the strut and tie bars, well they will make the car "Feel" better but the Anti-roll bar actually alters the handling balance of the car.
kinda off topic, but tail-sliding is kinda like oversteer right? where the *** of the car swings in a bigger arc than the front?
back on topic...if you're not going insane like zzyzx and boilermaker in auto-xing, stick with progress sways, and neuspeed strut bars, those are relatively cheap, and if you DO search, you'll see TONS of + remarks about them. I have the progress sway myself, and trust me, you grip like a **** when you turn, the chassy is so stiff, you're wheels won't come off the ground at all! ^_^

I'm fairly certain Zzyzx hasn't dumped oodles of money getting big name Japanese parts, I guess I'm a little guilty of it, that doesn't mean I'm above buying the less expensive stuff, I'll buy whatever I think is the best I can get for the money. I've got a Neuspeed Upper front, hell, I've got a factory RSX rear sway bar. So the rest of it has names like JIC Magic, Cusco and Spoon slapped all over it, I didn't need it, and probably could have done without it and still run fine. 1/2 of it is you're suckered for the name, the rest of it is you proving to yourself its the best.
If you don't need the big huge bars for a purpose, they may not be worth it... I promise you'll never use their full strength potential on the street, and if you go overboard and don't really know how the car will react in a panic situation, you'll be in trouble. So they're probably unnecessary unless you just want to brag about Spoon parts... which is your own perogative. They're good, but they may or may not be worth it to you.
First of all, don't ask the question "Is this a good setup." Thats stupid. Then you're just asking everyone for an opinion and everyone's opinion, mine included, is bullshit.
Search around, get some cold hard info... then come back here with what you found out, weigh it against what you want the car to do go about it that way. What the best XYZ is is asking for trouble.
Coming out and saying EXACTLY what you want to get out of part XYZ is a much better way of getting information on here, and it shows you did your work in finding out what you could about the parts your interested in.

Money Spent on things that actually helped me on course.....
1. Eibach sport springs: Price Unknown, they were on the car when I bought it. (new with 56 miles)
2. Rota Slipstream wheels 15X6.5, 11.8 LBS each price $100 each ($400 total)
3. Falken Azenis tires 205/50-15 Price $65 each ($260)
4. RSX rear anti roll bar (19mm) price $80 (Stock 01 EX bar was 12 or 13mm I forget)
5. Chest harness, Cost $15
6. Neuspeed Front Upper strut bar cost $130
7. 03 Civic Ex Front anti roll bar (15.9mm) Cost $50 (I have an 01, stock bar was 25.4mm)
8. Porterfield pads and shoes $140
9. brembo Blanks $80
Total. $1155....
its not about how much it costs or whos name is on it, its about getting the right parts for what you intend to do with the car.
Next part..... depends. If the KW V3 is reasonably priced I'll go with that, other wise I'll pick up a set of Konis. (Around $500)
Note that these are the parts that actually helped me go faster and turn better, there are some other things that I have put on the car that really didnt do squat. (H/I/E)
1st place in STS for Las Vegas Region SCCA Solo 2 racing 2003.
Edit: Forgot brakes....

Ok I didnt wanna come off like all I wanted was an opinion. If you feel like its a waste of time than sorry. I just didnt know the term I was loooking for I want a little bit of over steer (that would be something like drifting I assume) I've been on this site long enough to know to search first then ask. I know exactly what the parts do and how they help (I read the read ZzYzX's Thread) All I wanted to know: Is getting Spoon parts gonna have a better advantage over the lower priced suspension parts?
Again Im sorry if you feel like Im wasting people's time but I think it's a reasonable question.

If there is a difference with the spoon parts, it's going to be so small and unnoticable that it's not worth the extra money, the best way to "take corners with no problem" is to become a better driver, STOCK civics can handle CRAZY good (yes crazy good is a term) Learn to drive, and the fundementals behind it, then you might be albe to use the .00001% better that the SPOON brand name part might offer you. Untill you reach the driving limits of your vehicle, there's no need to start tossing suspension parts on....
