what type?

yeah i've got a 95 civic sedan, and my back springs are starting to squeak pretty bad when the car hit's a bump, or goes into a driveway...etc. anyways, my dad took a look at it and said that i needed new springs, cuz they are crappy or something. i was planning on getting it lowered anyways, so i guess i can kill two birds with one stone here! what springs would u guys recomend to me? btw, i'm pretty much ALL stock right now, xcept audio system ofcourse

yeah what do you want the car to do? You will also have to invest in some shocks and camber kits.

well, i want a smooth ride if possible, but, i'm willing to be flexible on the bouncyness. this IS a daily driver that does go over speed bumps everyday, so i think a 2" drop would be pushing it. i was looking at eibach springs... can you link me to some more info on these shock and camber kits? and what would you estimate the total cost to be, without labor? my dad said that we should be able to do it...

on the older civics, ya it should be no problem for you and your dad to do the work.

i found it easier to change spring on the older civics IF the bolts are not rusty or sealed tight

Try this:
www.eibach.com

It will give you info on the springs, etc. The pro kit should be fine for you. Its a little bumpy ride, but maybe easier for you because I live in LA. The roads are terrible here. And with the pro kit, there isnt a need for a camber kit, so I'm told by other members of this site.
