Hayame Full Coilovers *56k friendly
I am getting a new credit card in the mail Friday with a credit limit of $7,500 and it's already burning a hole in my wallet. If you could return these, would you for a set of Tein SS or stick with them? Would you recomend these to a fellow 7th gen owner?

Umm, I don't have the time to write a full review or post a DIY and whatnot, but here's my opinion on them.
The damping seems to be fairly progressive. I tested them on 3 levels, near-stock, full tuck and 1 finger gap, which I'm using now. They naturally get harder the lower you go, and full tuck is pretty harsh, as is anything at that height. At the setting I'm currently using, the ride is better than GC's on stock shocks and Neuspeed Race also on stocks. I've never owned or ridden in a car with Koni's so I have no idea about any Koni combos. Overall, the coils seem to reflect my opinion on most other Hayame products: competitively priced, maybe not with all the fancy doodads other manufacturers have, but I think buyers will be pleasantly surprised with them.
And there's some small pics in my ride gallery, they're around a 2-2.25" drop, 1 finger gap on 15s.

ya i should be getting these soon...
it should help out with the bumpsteer. I'll take a picture of the angle on the steering rod with the race, the hayames and stock so you can compare.

well im still figuring out how to post pictures....dont worry ill figure it out on my own cause i know how to SEARCH.....but the best i could do now is upload my files to my gallery.....so if ya want to know what it looks like...it's in there....i will post close ups tomarrow....when i get my last rim.....dam ups only delivered 3 of my 4 rims so yeah....but tomarrow i will have my 18s on there......
I just got my 18s put on today........honestly i am very happy with this suspension....for how low it is, it rides fine....it is a little bumpy hear and there.....the steering is a little bit more stiffer....the only concern for me is how long it will last...i am not sure how reputable hayame is.....hopefully the shocks dont blow out or anything like that.....but i was willing to take a chance....so far so good.......the only time its really bad is on the patched up sections of the freeway.....compared to others with shocks and coilovers, cut springs, and lowering springs, it rides better than all in my opinion....Really it depends on the area you live in and how bad the roads are.....i will post pics of my car with the rims tomarrow in my gallery.....
i dont know....i just have the front camber bolts for +/- degrees....but i havent put it on...cause the alignment i shop im going to was too busy...i just put my rims on....so check them out in my gallery......i dont have a rear camber kit by the way....most likely i will order one though
yeah....i tried to go get it aligned today...but the shop was too busy....and i cant complain cause im getting it done for free....so im just gonna let it sit this weekend till monday....cause i dont want any uneven wear starting.....by the way i have the camber bolts to fix that...i still need to find a back camber kit though...

Dayum nice.
Does the kit eliminate the ricer bounce? I have some Eibach Sportlines on stock struts and get the bouncing action.. I hate it. Its really noticable at night when you watch the headlight reflect off of things.

i got my alignment done today.....it took two hours....lol.....but there is still a little steer to the right....so they have to work on it more tomarrow......im not tripping cause i didnt have to pay a cent except buy my friend a pack of cigarettes...lol
Did your alignment shop get the steering straight? I just got in my Tein coilovers in Last Saturday and got the alighment done Wednesday. The print out is dead on but they say I will have "torque steer" because I have changed the angle of my drive shafts. I have about a 3 inch drop right now and I don't plan on going any lower because thet is what my alignment is set to. I trust the job the alignment shop did because everyone in this town recomends them and they have been in buisness for 18 years.
