Question need input on this setup...

03 vic ex coupe. wanting to redo the suspention... i can afford all but tires and rims so that has to wait a lil while longer... here is what i am thinking about so far... any input is grateful.

eibach anti roll kit...
nuspeed tower brace front
springs... tein ss, progress or eibach proline..
shocks.. still in the air... would like Koni.. however that fact that you have to mod to use them and the area i live in scares me...

I have the honda aero kit on my car... my rides shows the pics of it... only about 2 months old.. time to play....
thankx in advance
John

what are you building the suspension up for? street use? autocross/track days? the "Look"?

if you are building it up for racing, do one part at a time and test on course. That way if you get a part that unbalances the car, you know what part it is and you can change it.

for the street, any of those would be fine, because even if it made the car have some bad habits at the limits of traction (Understeer or oversteer), You'll never get there on the street (At least I hope you dont drive on the street at the limits of traction). also, do you want a stiff sporty ride or do you want a nice smooth/comfortable ride.

For the "Look"..... Sorry I dont do the "Look"

For street only, Lose the anti-roll bars. Don't really need them and they can make the ride rough over certin types of bumps. Tein SS would be a good set up, but then so would the Tein Basic or B&G's. The only reason you'd want the SS is if you want the shocks to be adjustible. Konis would be good if you just want to go with a spring.

18's aren't going to do any thing to help ride quaity, and will hinder handling and acceleration.

you can get tein ss for $1000-1200. The only shocks available are koni's so just save yourself some time and money and get the tein's. If it is for street use, just get the tein basics.

sorry for all the newbie questions.. first car....just want to do it right the first time...
i dont mind spendin the money.. in the way down the road who knows what i may do with the car... even if i get the basics... basicly taking out one whole piece and replacing it with a whole new piece....?? right...? about whats the life... figure typical driving.. not hard slamming but i like to take corners.... i like the koni's but too much to do ... plus where i live not many options to take it to get setup...
any other options would be grateful... i went to the tire rack saw some 17's and rims i like... and pitic sizes i should know about...
thankz for putting up with me
