Question Poping of the Ground Control Coilovers

I have had my Ground Control Coilovers on my car for about a month now and i hear almost a poping sound when i turn my car. They say that it is just the coil Spining and that it will go away. Is this true and i still have the stock shock and struts in my car. Is there anything i can do to help not pop as much. Please need help getting aggrecated.

nope...i know exactly what you're going through...i've had my gc's for almost 6 months now, and it still pops every once in a while. Only way to prevent it is to lube the end of the springs, and drive less agressively. Everytime you hit a bump or some sort of road abnormality, there is a chance the spring will pop out of the groove, and when you drive around again, it will snap back into the groove and make that popping sound.

I dun think it will ever go away with time...i think getting new stiffer struts might do something

I've had mine for more than 2 1/2 years and it did go away. Now I have a popping noise when I hit a bump coming from my drivers side. I dont know if its a Koni or what.

i have skunk2 coil sleeves and when i turn my steering wheel... my springs "pop".... to my understanding .... and correct me if im wrong.... the top mount or the front suspention changed between tha 01 and tha 02...

when you by teins... for peeps with 02+.. you have to by the 01 bearin mount.... does that mean you need to buy these mount for other kits.. like ground control or skunk2 ?

like what onebuddha1 said i think it is the upper bearing mount... i ordered 01 bearing mount for my tein coilvers havent installed them both yet. my accord used to make noises like that when i big *** bumps or rocky roads then pop back into position i guess.
