Need some advice on lowering springs

HI there...I have a 2001 Civic 2001 EX. I want to buy lowering springs for my car and I wanted to get some H & Rs or Eibach Sportlines/Sport but they dont lower quiet enough. They only lower about 1.3 to 1.4 at most on those ones. I was looking at Neuspeed, and i heard some good things about those springs. I was thinkin of getting those ones. I do not want coilovers cuz they are too bumpy. I have 17in rims but with 215/45, once I lower it do you think the tire will rub? I will probably lower with some Neuspeed sport springs with a 1.75 front drop and 1.5 back drop. Let me know what you think. I need some advice. Thanks.

Steve

eibach sporlines lowers 1.4 all around. but seems like around 1.75 once its settled. there are no eibach sports.. sleeved coilovers might be bumpy with stock shocks but fullcoilovers arent bumpy at all.
check out suspension faq. search around...

cool, but will there be rubbing with 215/45/17 or 215/40/17 with the neuspeed sport springs? The offset it 40. I am wondering if the 205 might be a safer bet. I kinda like to have the 215, but then i dont want to buy it if it will rub after i lower my car. thanks

i just drop my today 2 inches wiht H&R spring and i have 215,40,R17 and it a perfect fit. No rubbing no ****, only smoolth ride. i surgest that u get 45 not 40 cause on 40 u would have like an inch of space between the tire and the fender. u want it to perfectly there at the fender line for tha best look.
