Neuspeed Springs --- Whats the diff?

Hey All

I have a question for you guys .....
What the difference between the Neuspeed Sport Springs for the 2 door and the 4 door?

The reason I am asking is because I ordered in a few suspension parts for the car (2 door EX) and I ended up with a set of springs for a 4 door, I can probably send them back but they will no doubt charge me a restocking fee, so I was wondering if the 4 door springs will fit the 2 door at all, or am I screwed?

Thanks

They will fit. I think the 4 door ones help with the rear sagging when you lower them. I am not sure if they upped the spring rate on the rear for 4 door ones or what.

I had the first series that neuspeed made for the 01 7th gen.
The springs said 4 door on the bow but in the neuspeed catalog it had "all 2001 Civics" for that part number. So, I drove to neuspeed and they stated that they will fit 2 & 4 dr. I put them on my coupe and the springs fit fine.

I had them on for a week because I didn't like the ride, not stiff enough for me.
I'll sell them to you if you want them just make an offer.
They are the neuspeed sport spring 1.5f - 1.75r

whos fault was it? if it was the companies fault they shouldnt charge you any fees. here's the whole deal with neuspeed springs..

when they first came out they only had 1. it was for both coupes and sedans. people with coupes said the rear was too high so they made those springs into sedan springs and they "made" coupe springs. basically they are a cut version of rear sedan springs. fronts are the same, spring rate is the same. just the height of the rear is different. if you dont want to pay the restocking fee just cut 1 DEAD coil off each of the rear springs and the drop should be fine.
i had the old springs too and i took it to neuspeed and they "replaced" it for free. they said they replaced it but i'm pretty sure they just cut it.

Don't cut the spring!!!! Whatever you do!!!! That compromises the structral integrity of the spring design. Send it back, it is their error. No stocking fee should be applicable.

btw....neuspeed does have 2 different springs.......
55.20.62 for cpe
55.20.61 for sdn

Probably be better off keeping the 4 dr. If you ride with people in yoru back a lot in a cpe. My Tein S. Techs kinda sag with people in the back.

cutting a dead coil doesnt change the spring rate on the springs so its ok. a dead coil are coils that touch together when on the car. they are basically just there to keep the springs in place. cutting even 1 on the neuspeeds will hold it in place so its fine.
i had the sedan springs on my coupe and trust me you do not want it. the rear is basically stock. i think i had like a 3 finger gap in the rear while 1.5 in the front.
