A tie bar will do nothing for performance. It acts like a brace when you upgrade your sway bar. by upgrading your sway bar, you can put more force on your chassis thus, increasing the chances of it cracking. A tie bar helps to brace the chassis from the increased force of the bigger sway bar. So if you are asking if it is worth it, then no if you don't have a 19mm+ sway bar and yes if you do have a 19mm+ sway bar. There are other tie bars out there. There are generic ones, DC sports, Neuspeed, spoon.

The Skunk2 one is pretty nice. I liked the fact there was a hard anodized (Teflon enclosed) version. I would have gotten that one, but Hondawerx gave me a deal on the Spoon one that I couldn't pass on. The only difference that I see is the Skunk2 has 2 adjustable ends, the Spoon has 1. You could argue that one either way as extra adjustability or extra stiffness. I don't think it matters either way.
